Event Description:

12-11-13-Measuring-and-Mapping-Space-WebJoin us as we discuss the current exhibit, Measuring and Mapping Space: Geographic Knowledge in Greco- Roman Antiquity at the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World. Panelists, including the exhibit curators, will explore how ancient societies understood and visualized the world.  This exhibit provides a unique perspective on ancient societies' political and cultural values and philosophy, as well as demonstrating their mathematical and scientific expertise.
