About Digital Humanities

The digital humanities, more broadly defined as the intersection of digital technologies and traditional humanism within multiple fields of teaching, learning, research, and invention, has revealed itself to be the major trend in the 21st century in humanist disciplines*. Established in the fall of 2012 in collaboration with NYU Libraries and the Office of Global Technology, NYU-DH is dedicated to building NYU’s leadership for the second-generation of institution building in the field of digital humanities.
